Best form of wireless bins there is.
These type are the best of all, not just Sony, other products are available. It's the docking / transceiver station, with integral headphone battery charger. I did try some 5 in 1 stuff but they're awful, batteries go down without warning. With this type the dock is mains power and connected to the media outlet. Sony actually use the head strap as on / off, so take them off no sound or battery usage. When you finish playing an instrument, game or media the headphones get docked and auto recharged, they're well worth the money compared to cheap all in ones.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent headphones
Easy to set up and use, the sound quality is extremely good. The pads cover my ears and make a good seal.I love to hear good clear bass rumbling in my head when watching movies and at 10Hz its very bassy. Also the mid to higher frequencies are still ok, plus you can hear all the dialogue without distracting noises. I noticed some people gave these headphones a thumbs down with the quality of the sound or background hiss. I've had many wireless headphones and in my experience the problem is probably not setting the headphones up correctly. I never use the RCA or phono plug sockets on the back of my t/v as you seem to have less control over the volume and quality output. I always use the stereo jack socket where you can adjust volume and other settings, in my case I set the volume output of the jack socket to around 40%-50% and never get hiss or signal drop out or distortion.
