A challenge
I really don't know if its performing well. I design my own crossovers. Accordingly, I need accurate T/S parameters and must trust the manufacturer's data sheets. But I also perform some of my own measurements. and I'm having a problem with these 2 drivers . All versions of spec sheets that I have identify Le (voice coil inductance) at approx. 0.02 mH . Yet these DX25TG's measure 0. 5 and 0.9 mH - magnitudes of difference from the spec. That number influences the selection of other components in parts of the crossover. So I wonder what's up here. They sound OK in a store-bought 2nd order filter and a test box. But I need them to perform in MTM configuration, in a 3rd order filter, to acoustically accomplish what I set out to do in the speaker system. So I'm a bit apprehensive about going forward with a lot of work to complete the installation given the possibility that it wont turn out satisfactorily.
