Good bit of kit if used correctly. Trial and error to begin with but worthwhile results
If you buy this product follow the instructions provided. also if you use kiln dried sand and a mix of 3 to 1 sand & cement a 50/50 mix of water and plasticiser mixed to a creamy consistency you will be impressed by the results. You must clean the gun between every use or you may get blockages in the nozzle. Do not use Sharp sand!! the small stones are enough to cause blockages. I did not try using building sand but would think this would work ok.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Limited life.
The gun does what is expected of it but don't expect it to last. Getting the right mortar mix is crucial and using more plasticiser than water worked for me. I found it essential to clean the thing thoroughly after EACH use, thereby doubling the job time. The end of the plunger came off after 2 uses, but was easily screwed on again. Failing to fully clean the inside resulted in hardened bits of mortar jamming up the nozzle and failing to clean the threads on the cap and tube causes the cap to get stuck (so it doesn't come off and the bits of mortar left inside hardens). I found it best to mix enough for just one or maybe two fills at a time. In the end it lasted about a week (about a dozen uses) before the cap thread became too worn and stuck. Fortunately for me I was just able to finish the job. This is probably a one or two job product. Not sure I would call it a "professional" product but should be OK for a DIY user.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
