Handy but switch rather poor

Astonishingly bright for its size
Gives off a great amount of light for its size, it has a really good throw, but also lights up a large area. The lowest setting is perfectly adequate for seeing where you are going indoors or for lighting a tent. The middle setting is more than bright enough for navigating outside. The high setting will light up distant objects with ease, but obviously that hits the battery quite hard. Seems like a lot of money to shell out for a small torch, but you hardly notice it in our pocket and I am sure it will give off more light than much larger torches. I would recommend using a decent battery to get the best out of it. Either a good quality rechargeable battery if you are going to use it on a daily basis, or something like an Energizer Ultimate Lithium if you are going to use it less frequently. The reason for this is that most rechargeable batteries gradually lose their charge over time when not in use, whereas Lithium batteries last for years between uses. The torch looks and feels very well made, and I am sure will last for many years, so all in all, a good investment.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
