Alternative Use.
I have never tried paella but having seen a very large paella pan for sale at an antique centre thought I would search Ebay for a new one. My intention is to use it for large ‘fry-ups’ over an outdoor stick burning fire place. At times we feed upto eight adults, and the 600mm pan will sit raised slightly from the steel fire surround, giving more heat within a central strip and cooler to the two sides.
