This is is excellent product, my stock cheap shimano brakes were working like a 50 year old truck! These can be tuned to stop your bike on a dime. I would suggest for the maximum braking performance you buy magura rotors I personally have 203mm front and rear mdr-c which are a good balance for my weight but this varies. You can go 220mm at the front but this is overkill but for the most hardened mountain downhillers. Lovely metal levers with a smooth action which also can be tuned in and out to reach the biting point. Easily bleed using a kit obtainable reasonably anywhere but be sure to use magura royal blood oil. As with all new brakes bed the pads/discs in before expecting their full potential.

All MT brakes are great Ive had MT7's 8's and now sport. Easy bleeding , no full bleed. You just need one syringe. Stopping power enormous. Currently riding MT2 sport because all my other ones wer stolen along with my bikes.

Better than my shimano 501 breaks far snapper and far more responsive and the stopping power is at a par with most disc breaks costing far more money they are the best on the market for the money
