Good scanner with many useful features.
I had one of these since they first came out and it performed very well on the higher frequencies, not so well on the lower ones. But it eventually went 'deaf' on all channels, so I have kept an eye out for one ever since as Uniden have discontinued this model. I like the way that you can apply different settings to each channel that is programmed. This allows you to get maximum performance from the unit. This is probably not a beginners scanner unless they have knowledge of frequencies, CTCSS, modulation etc. The instruction book is about 50 pages long, so it will take a while to work things out.
