Well made and easy to use
I have always wondered about this way of cooking and bought this set for my birthday.
Having managed to master pan fried salmon with crispy skin, to the level that even my ex loves, I thought let's go up a level.
In a way, it is a bit of an odd way to cook, I mean heat the food for ages and then cook it some more in a pan or blast it with a blow torch!
I tried salmon and one might think (as I did) that the results aren't going to be some much better.
Well, was I wrong. After 45 minutes the vac packed salmon came out.
I let it cool as I got the frying pan ready. Cut the bag open and started with the skin down on a hot pan with rapeseed oil. Then, once skin crisp, turn over and sear the top.
Serve with some new boiled potatoes and a light sauce (lemon and dill with cream or your choice) or just seasoning: melt in the mouth wonder.
