    Nice unit for the price.

    I was a bit surprised of how solid this typewriter is. Although the unit I bought came without an owner's manual, it was easy enough to figure out the use. One thing I did not care for was the so-called "lid" or "cover". I had a difficult time lining up the two notches in the back and then when I did, one of the tabs that keeps it closed broke off. So, the lid does not fit securely. My purpose was to have this as a portable take-along rather than my laptop. The tab that broke off is an engineering bone due to the way it is made and after many uses would snap off. Other than that, I am satisfied with the typewriter.

    Best of both worlds!

    Love this typewriter. It's small, light and easy to carry and runs on C cell batteries. Since it uses thermal paper, a roll of fax paper is all you need! I bought ribbons for it too but they are old stock. I'm very happy with my purchase
