Really good quality
This is the GenX4 series not the GenX5 or Octane series so it’s a brushed motor but is still good quality. I’m have a GenX5 impact driver and a Octane 1/2” impact wrench and I really needed a drill for the platform but I don’t really need a hammer like the new version and I didn’t want to pay upwards of $150 for a drill. Rigid 18 volt cordless drill/driver
Got my first Rigid drill years ago and first used it to install a 44' X 60' metal roof in three days in July 2014 (Hottest days of that year) by myself. I finally wore that one out two years ago so I have purchased three more. Driving self-tapping metal screws, drilling metal and wood and composites are easy. Built a new tractor shelter last week using my three drill/drivers in three days In December weather.It is 14' X 30' and withstood a severe thunderstorm that was part of the supercell storm that was showing rotation on radar a few miles north of my home. My only recommendation is to buy additional batteries so that you don't have to wait for batteries to recharge while doing a large project(s) - the 4.0 maH batteries are terrific!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
