I'm happy, a nice looking mechanical watch, make a change from all the quartz stuff I've got
I was looking for a simple, easy to read watch, and I've been fascinated by Russian watches for the novelty value. Clean white dial, a full set of clear numerals liked like it filled the bill. I wasn't worried about the lack of date, - a) I'm retired so who cares what the day/date is, and b) my eyesight has got to the point I have to squint to see the date windows usually anyway. I changed the strap for a NATO strap, nothing too wrong with the rubber one, but the irony of a NATO strap on a Russian watch with a Soviet era movement appealed... and I like NATO straps. I doubt I'll ever seriously test the 200m water resistance, I'm not sure I'm that water resistant, but it's good the feel like I don't have to worry about taking it off to get my hands wet.

New Vostok watch is very nice.
This watch can be manually wound as well as wound in the automatic mode through arm and wrist action. The watch keeps very good time and is very comfortable to wear. "Not so cheap" after all
This watch is a no frills design, the face is very clear and the hands are thicker making it easy too see even in partial light, it keeps good time and is very comfortable on the wrist. The face is slightly different to the one I ordered but there are variations to this watch. Overall very pleased, only negative was an extra £18:40 I had to pay to customs before I got the watch making it a more expensive buy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

My first Vostok Amphibia just arrived. It is so beautiful, strong, good size, casual and also sharp. The accuracy are +9,1 sec/day, very well for this price category. It's my first Vostok but for sure I will buy more soon!

Simple and reliable as an AK-47
Plain basic watch, no nonsence gizmo, the essence of an AK-47 in a watch. The prime quality of a watch is to give you time, right ! And the Amphibian is highly water resistant as I use it extensively for swimming. Value, stylish watch that can be worn anywhere.
The watch is good looking feels good on the wrist and keeps great time. It is simple design and can be worn anywhere under any circumstance. An all-round great value watch. The only negative point is that the bracelet could be a little more solid and the crown is a bit flakey when you pull it out.
