Back door
I put the dog flap into my upvc back door. The panel in the door was 38mm which is the standard size. You will need to make frame to fit it.Also the clip on panel is not strong, as one good kick & you would be able to get in. I made a slid down ply panel to make it secure. The dog loves it

Improved Dog Flap
I cannot tell yet if this dog flap does what it says until the winter sets in. It looks ok. I like the idea of the double flaps. It's the same principle as double glazing. My old flap was a single and that would open in a strong wind. I think this item is over priced, but that's the price they are, and I could not find them cheaper. As for quality, time will tell

Disappointing Quality
Really disappointed with this. Nowhere near the quality of their aluminium one - won’t last 5 minutes with Labradors crashing through it! And awful to fit - had to be heavily modified and packed out to stop it slipping down - hole the template gives you is far too high.
