Quality Craftsmanship makes a huge difference
This is a lower end Guild, yet the attention to detail and the quality of craftsmanship is very much noticeable to the naked eye. I have almost 30 guitars. Nice ones that I picked up cheap for whatever reason. The brands I own are: Gibson, Fender, Rickenbacker, G&L, Dean, Gretsch, Ibanez, Takamine, Martin, Danelectro, Alvarez Yairi, Peavey, Taylor and more. 6 ot them are 12 strings. And this Guild is built better than all of them. The uniformity of the fret work alone just blows me away. This guitar was made in China, yet I like it way more than my American made Taylor 12 string and it cost me less than half of what the Taylor cost. I really like this guitar and I am glad I bought it. The reason that I don't claim to love it is because I don't love any guitar. I love my dogs and a very small handful of humans. And that is that.
