Being a fervent forager, and owning a few fungi reference books, I have something to compare this to. Geoff's book is a good read, very well thought out/laid out, very informative and has great photos to back it up. I have several tomes on the subject of mushrooms, this is the first one that bothered to teach me anything, from translations of all the terms I see in the other books, to interesting anecdotes that improves my understanding.
