Go for the Eggz earplugs, still expensive but they work well.
Pros: They seem to be good quality, but then no better than the $5 Timu plugs.
Cons: Rediculously expensive at A$50 for a simple piece of silicone. They don't fit me at all. I obviously have large ear canals, and they push right in, and I can't get them out without tweezers. When I do have them seated properly in my ears, they still let in a lot of wind noise. My other Eggz earplugs fit and work well, because they send two sizes of the silicon part to cover different-sized ears. That must cost them all of $1.
