I bought these as the lighter duty slip did not have the overnight capacity I needed. These have magnificent capacity and allow me a full nights undesturbed sleep with the confidence my bedding remains dry. Previously I needed to change the slip during the night. The tapes are strong and secure and allow a good tight fit. The shape with the extra rear padding is much more comfortable. The cost is high but if you take in to account I needed two slips previously these actually work out cheaper. The slip does swell to about three times its dry size but still does not leak. I have so far found I do not need to wear additional waterproof pants with the ultima slip which is also good. They are quiet to wear and do not crinkle too much. I would only use these for night times as they are very bulky when full and might be noticeable. Why I like Tena with PU backing
Up till now I have used iD Slips they were very good and not expensive, however, they have changed the design and I now find them hopeless as they now become loose as the cotton feel sides stretch and they become loose and the padding is too soft and doesn't keep its shape and falls apart. I went back to Tena because they are firm and snug fitting and don't become loose, unfortunately, many Companies are going that way with design so I will stick with Tena all the time they have a PU/plastic backing sheet.
