Easy upgrade
Hello fellow Glock fans! I’ve learned to appreciate the function vs the form of these Tupperware guns. I had no choice but learn to use my issued Glock, and have grown to appreciate this lil Austrian beauty. Installing the Magpul magwell is by far the easiest and most economic upgrade you can make. I’ve found it has sped up my reloads. The only issue I have is two things: 1, it would have been nice to have a supplied wrench (could have been a fluke) and 2, it’s easy to screw the set screw in too far, which releases the unit from the grip. Not to worry, Magpul was liberal in applying thread locker, so by backing the screw out just a few turns, everything works out and feels secure. I’ve only put a few hundred rounds through my G17 with this installed, but so far, I’m impressed. Great job Magpul!

Enhanced MAGWEL from MAGPUL Glock17
This part fits great and protects the original edge from damage. Remember to fully insert into rear space and push against a table or door to insure the screw that fits in the lanyard hole is aligned. Don't use the screw it's self to align the rest of the way as damage to the Glock rear hole could be damaged. The final fit is tight and the Mag well construction is harder plastic than the Glock Polymer and should take a lot of tactical use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A Must Have For All Gen 4 Glocks!
This is a must have. The Gen 4 has way to thin magwell lips at the very bottom, from the factory. This making that area stronger is worth it alone. This also makes mag changes a breeze. It's what I've been waiting for!
At first, I was skeptical. But, at such an affordable price point, I figured it's worth a try. All the predecessors are big, bulky, metalic and hard to modify as well as expensive. I have a large hand. So, I use the (L ) large backstrap. Which I had to exclude in an effort to feel this out and give it a try. I could also forsee a degree of difficulty stripping a magazine out of it, if I needed to. Those are really the only cons I could find. If Magpul had designed it to work with backstraps, It would have earned a five star rating from me. It's not a giant funnel. It doesn't change how I carry. It's still as comfortable as it was without it. It looks great! And because it's polymer, I was able to dremel it out and fit it for use with my backstrap in just a few minutes. I fed it from all sorts of off angles, trying to force it to fail. It passed every everytime. I would recommend this magwell to anyone considering using a magwell. Easy install! Good design! Great bang for the buck, literally.
Magpul comes through again and just compliments the Magwell with an fantastic polymer built extended magwell. It’s low profile so it can be concealed carried more effect. The mags during an quick reload drill feel more home than ever. The slight downside is you CANNOT use it with the Gen 4 backstraps. SO WORTH IT!

Magpul GL Enhanced Magazine Well
