Designer runs amok, turns book into unreadable mess
This book. although, a literary award winner, is so full of designer and supposedly clever or amusing gimmicks. There were so many of these, in fact, that I was distracted as I attempted to read it aloud. It was such a mixup that my young listener had many questions about the mixed-up pages that he could not follow the cleverness of the story.
