Does not fit snug in bore, but A Slight Modification Will Fix It.
Fits sloppy in the chamber. Not easy to get the light to shoot out the muzzle without glancing off the bore and causing reflections which kills accuracy.
The fix is to place exactly one layer of cellophane tape around the body of the tool. Do not overlap.
Now, the laser will always fit snugly, and perfectly centered in the chamber. Gravity will not dislodge it, but It will pull out easily with a slight tug of the cable.
Don’t complain that the laser is not bright enough outdoors, bore sighting is properly done indoors at about 20 feet. Get the crosshairs right on the laser dot, and you’ll be on the paper at the range. Fine tune from there.
Oh, NEVER close the bolt on this or you’ll have a bad day. You will likely ruin the tool and have a heck of a time removing it from the chamber, even with a cleaning rod.
