Very easy to put on
All in all the Ultimate Shield is the best screen protector I've tried on my Pixel 2 XL - so many others out there don't fit the screen's curves properly. It was very easy put on and covers the screen well while working fine with both my phone cases (Obliq and Incipio Octane). It looks very good on the phone, but be aware it gives the screen a much more mirror-like reflectiveness then it has without it. I've been generally very pleased with mine although weirdly you may got a slight rainbow-like distortion in the centre of the screen when you use it under fluorescent lighting. It doesn't happen at all in daylight nor under LED or incandescent lights, but it can appear under strip lights at the office or some fluorescent energy saving bulbs. This must have something to do with the frequency of fluorescent lights I guess, but isn't too big an issue for me as I have only LED lights in my home. Nevertheless this is still the best screen protector I've ever bought.

Not brilliant
Was easy to apply but has a gap round the edge where it doesn't fit the curved screen properly. After 2 weeks dirt had got under the edges and small chips had started to appear on the sides. I wont get this one again.

Poor
The flat glass protector on a curved screen means the edges stand proud, massively increasing the chance of damage, mine cracked at the edge within days, I'm not even sure how. The lack of curve makes for less sticky area too so it comes unstuck much more easily. This is especially poor for a premium product given that these: /itm/133047006500 out perform the Ultimate Shield in every way for day to day use and are a quarter of the price.

It fits very easily on the screen and it has instructions on how to fit it properly on the screen however it does not cover the edges. It has the rainbow effect on my screen especially when it is used under florescent light. But it's not present under sunlight or LED lights Dust will start to gather on front camera and on the edges

Excellent Screen Protector
I was fed up of going through so many of the "film" type screen protectors so I thought I'd go for this one and I'm glad I did! The screen protector is perfect for me.. fits the phone really well and leaves just enough space around the edge for a case. There are a couple of minor niggles though.. it uses Dot Matrix (but this is hardly visible, and only catches your eye in certain light) and also the protector is rather shiny in sunlight so the display can be a bit hard to read - but turning up the screen's brightness helps a little bit. Overall I'm really happy I've come across it and will be placing another order soon to keep as a backup!

Excellent fit.... that's about it
Off to a flier,excellent fit, best I've tried on pixel 2 xl,went of very easy also unfortunately that's where it stopped being impressive,cracked first drop, literally on phone less than 2 minutes,small drop off couch onto floor and the protector came right off phone and was cracked,suppose it done it's job but had cheaper 1s last month and with higher drops

Same problem as other screen protectors I've tried for my pixel 2 XL, the edge of the screen protector seems to always have a lip that isn't stuck to the screen. Cracked on second day when my phone slipped down carpeted stairs

So far so good

Great build and easy to install
Checked a few screens on eBay but after checking this one I decided to go for it. I initially thought a little pricy but fits great,easy to install and doesn't come off. Also doesn't interfere with the sensitivity on the screen or the punch for assistant for Google assistant. Would recommend highly.
