Great product for the curious minded.
The spectroscope is good! It's very simple but works as arvertised. It has a slit through which the light passes. At the eyepiece is a diffraction grating piece through which the light diffracts creating the interference pattern (white light breaks into colours). The product is great for the price as long as you know what to realistically expect out of a spectroscope.

No focussing, so difficult for the over 40's. Slit is too wide, so no absorption bands.
