EBC MX disc for off-road motorcycles. Made in the UK. The aim of the development is to improve braking performance compared to the original brake disc. EBC used low carbon HPSR steel, having a high friction coefficient of 18%. This steel is much more resistant to rust than cast steel. Furthermore, the entire surface is protected with a 3 micron thick zinc coating, which abrades already during deceleration in the contact area of the pads. Only in this area, light surface rust may form after prolonged use. The brake discs are drilled in the bird's wings design as far as possible to get along with the least number of holes with excellent cleaning of the brake disc from rainwater and brake dust. The fewer holes there are, the better the wet braking performance and the less wear. - Hard disk.
