Misrepresented item
It is not until you assemble and silicone in the product that I realised that it is an inferior and completely different item to the one pictured in the ebay advert. The fittings on the delivered item are made of cheap plastic. In particular the pivot blocks are flimsy plastic that wil not, over time, support the plate glass door. The support arm is very cheap plastic and totally different from the advertised item. When gently tightening the screws into the shoddy plastic fittings the thread on the fittings strip away. The seal on the door seems to be a thin strip of fury velcro through which water flows onto the bathroom floor. I contacted the company and they agreed that the picture on ebay did not match the item sent. They said they would replace to product but have ignored me since. They have changed the picture on ebay. The new picture shows the right crappy design but has been doctored so the plastic fittings look like metal.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Purchased the screen, came very early, dissapointment to find only had diagrams in pamflrt on how to fit, could have done with some written instructions, diagrams not easy to follow, not one to fit for someone on there own, definately a 2 person job otherwise very satisfied with product it looks a treat once up,unable to test as ye, waiting for silicon to set over night. Bargain with a couple of issues
Description says 240 degrees but it will only go 180. If pushed further, it would clearly break the hinge. I will need to implement some sort of stopper to prevent breakage. The bottom hinge point tends to move and may later cause loss of seal and leaking. The packaging (or handling?) was inadequate resulting in a big dent in the curved metal edge of the large panel. Not safe to open the door!
I’m a professional & this is the worst screen I’ve ever fitted. No mechanical fixings between the glass & the wall other than the arm. Consequently if u open the door the weight & leverage can move the bottom as the glass is literally wedged in place with rubber seals & silicon (never a good combination)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
