Works with the Vaio, as well as the Surface Pro 4.
I bought this for a Sony Vaio Duo with Windows 8. I've been using it more with the Surface Pro 4 (Windows 10). The right-click feature on Windows 8 was the first button, but now that is the eraser on the Surface Pro 4, while the 3rd button becomes the right-click. It does support the pressure sensitivity for the Sketchpad. These are most likely Windows 10 features. The main downsides are: 1. It doesn't stay magnetized to the Surface Pro 4 very well, especially the left side. If magnetized to the right it can "hang" onto the USB port, and it generally stays in place, but it then blocks the USB port and Power port. 2. I can't get it to fit into the Sony Vaio Duo battery. The extended battery has a spot for a pen to go, it just won't fit. Haven't found a Sony stylus that does.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works for Surface3 Pro
It comes with 2 tips, one for the pen and one for replacement, 1xAAAA battery, and the pen itself. It has two buttons on the side, which functions just like Microsoft's pen, one button for erase and the other for right-click. It doesn't have the purple button on the back-end though. Body is made of some kind of plastic or alluminum. Feels just like Micrsoft's pen. The tip is a bit less sensitive to pressure than Microsoft's pen though, so it's not that good for drawing, but it's good for writing notes. Tip is harder and more plasticy than Microsoft's pentip, which make it a bit more slippery when writing on the screen. You get used to it though. The barrel is the exact same size as the Microsoft's pen, so you can actually switch out the back end and use the purple button from the Microsoft pen on the Sony pen. Pretty neat.

The pen works great, I love it, it does have a small inconvenience , the control buttons are easy to hit when you're drawing which erases and causes some redo. outside of that great, and I'm sure that will get easier to avoid.

Bought this as a replacement for the insanely expensive Microsoft Surface pen. Couldn’t be happier! Works as well or better than the Surface pen. The only issue I have with it is the head of it could be a little sturdier. Got the clip caught on something and snapped the head right off.
