Great alternative to coffee.
I have liked Barley cup for years. It is great if you want the flavour of coffee without the caffeine. Only problem is the jars come individually wrapped. If they were left in their packaging and then wrapped it would save time and bubble wrap.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good all day drink
This is our main drink. Coffee irritates my oesophagus but this is very comforting. It has a mild taste . We use 2 spoons and quite a good helping of milk. When we first started drinking it in the late 80s we had to persist but it has been worth it. I prefer the powder rather than the granules. I have tried other coffee substitute but this is my main drink and preference. My choice
I started having this drink when, for health reasons, I had to give up tea and coffee. Personally I find it very palatable and enjoy it. I prefer it with rice milk as the slight sweetness in the milk means there is no need to add sugar. I shall never return to tea and coffee.
