    string comparsons

    Having fitted these strings to two own design and built octave mandolin/mandalas with a 21inch scale I have found them to be well balanced with a satisfactory tension tone and brightness as stated by the manufactory would recommend theses strings however if being fitted to an instrument with a scale 17 to 20 as far as tension goes would recommend the heavy gauge set
