My nieces loved it. They spun them and tried to flick them up and catch them or keep them spinning while dancing. I was a little disappointed I have used other plate spinning activities through work. These were smaller than I expected and made of a hard plastic making it impossible to spin them from a starting position. It was just a toy and the girls didn’t seem to care.

I have a plate I bought from a circus which is usable and wanted some for some circus games for new year. We all found these totally unusable as too small and no rubber end to the stick made it impossible to balance. At no time did 8 adults manage to get 1 plate spinning over the course of the evening. I threw away the next day. Don't waste your money.
