Printer is defective when using Black Ink
I had trouble downloading to my computer but finally was able to get it working. Once I did this I continually have problems with printing. Printer will not print black ink and paper just comes out blank. Printing in color is ok but after numerous nozzle checks and $$$ spent on ink it is still not working. This has gone on for 2 months. Great printer at a resonable price
I retired my old Epson printer after 10 years. Since it gave me good service I decided to buy another Epson. The Epson XP-430 was just what I was looking for, multi functional, Wi-Fi ready, reasonably priced ink cartridges, and small enough to fit on my desk. The only negative thing that I can say is that the set-up instructions did not warn about the internal packing. When I tried to print after following all of the set-up procedures the machine made a terrible grinding noise. Upon further investigation I discovered the packing. Epson XP-430 works great.
I have used Epson before and I know it is better than the Cannon I once had and the HP I have. The price was great for what you get. I have it wired to my old laptop and set up as wireless for both my other laptop and my desk top.
