THE Equalizer To Have In Small Spaces
First, this is the second one I now own, so my comments are a reflection of years of ownership, and not the week I've had this second unit. Now the details.
Like any good quality equalizer, you can monitor your sound, track your output graphically, cut out low frequency rumble, choose the degree of dB add / cut, etc. . And plenty of the larger equalizers don't have all of those features.
What's impressive and most useful to me about all these features is that they're crammed into such a little box. Mine are hooked up to my two i7 computers, and having these twin desktops in a one bedroom home office presents some space challenges that only Behringer has managed to solve.
My music of choice, whether for a working background or relaxation, is smoothe jazz; and while my speakers are of good quality, there's nothing that improves sound more than a custom sine wave to bring out just the instruments you want.
The Behringer may not have twenty frequency channels to select from, but I can still heighten that mellow guitar and diminish that over-reaching sax. That's what a good equalizer should do, and the Behringer does it very well indeed.
