It's good
I was looking for railings for my Lexus Rx450 with bare roof and could find 3 options: 1. Thule at around 200 gbp for the set 2. Some cheap Chinese railings with mixed reviews for about 40 quid 3. Set of Mont Blanc for more than half the price of Thule. Went with Mont Blanc and had my doubts of course as I have never used this system before. Always had roof rails on my previous cars. Arrived promptly. First impression - great quality and sturdy construction. Pretty useless instructions though.. so had to fiddle with it for about 40 minutes. At first it looks straight forward, but you have spend some time to fit it correctly. Again, impressed with the quality. Was conserned that some metal parts could leave marks on my car, but everything is rubberised. The set survived a 2000 mile trip to the Alps and back with a Thule roof box installed, however the bars have bent a bit, even though I haven't reached the max load of 75 kgs. My total load was a rood box (about 10-15 kg) + a ski bag with two sets of skis and clothes (all about 30 kg or less). So the total load was about 45kg. Not sure if the bars would bear more weight. Just consider your load carefully. All in all, would recommend.
