Avoid this stuff!
Avoid this stuff! I've used it for the purpose as on the box. Removed old oil which wasn't that bad yet - clear but a bit darker like black tea colour, then I've added Wynns to a differential with fresh, high quality branded synthetic oil (OEM specs). I didn't notice a lot of improvement maybe a bit of noise reduction due to the thickness of this stuff but after a while it get a bit noisier. I've done several longer journeys about 300 - 700 miles each. When differential wormed up it become as noisy as before and adding it - giving no difference after 1hr of constant driving. After about 3K miles I decided to check it how is it like and thanks Good I did as instead of nice, clear yellowish oil come out grey brownish slightly green slime like liquid with slight metallic sheen. This stuff was killing my differential. There is One positive thing - looks like it stopped oil leak. I've drain it completely and refiled differential with fresh clean OEM spec oil.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The noise got worse
I followed the instructions for my c class Mercedes, added the product to the rear axle which was just starting to whine, within a couple hundred miles it is considerably louder than it was before I put it in. Maybe a coincidence, but I don't see it that way.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
