Fluid master products are a durable and cost effective,
This unit will function excellent even on fixtures that are not recommend to use it. I did just that in my own home and the thing is performing better than the recommend factory part. I am also a retired Plumbing Contractor and highly recommend this product. Holy cow this thing sucks!
Ok. My new house has fancy toilets with wide valves. I tried to replace them with water savers a year ago but (because of the wide valves) there was literally only one on the market—and it wasn’t available at Lowes or HD so it cost an arm and a leg. I stubbornly persisted and that was a mistake. The wider water savers are junk—they wouldn’t flush half the time, then they would run. They broke, they leaked, you name it. My wife and family demanded that I go back, so I did. Then I made the mistake of installing this Fluidmaster kit. IT SUCKS! A few weeks in, the fill valve was running very slightly and hissing 24/7. I replaced it with a Fluidmaster Pro because of the impressive warranty. But now instead of hissing and slowly running, the valve just refills loudly every 60 seconds…day and night. I eventually figured out the problem: this vale leaks! I’m not 100% sure if it’s the hard rather than rubber flapper (WTF), or the IDIOTIC telescoping overflow. Save yourself a LOT of time, headache, and money. NEVER EVER BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
