A simple, cost effective, adaptable solution to pleasantly illuminating almost any indoor space.
I have fitted hundreds of this model of downlight during my working life as a domestic Electrician. I believe that JCC may have ceased production of this model; but, I assure you, they will have replaced it an equivalent that is just as well made and effective for lighting up your homes, offices and public areas. This downlight may be changed from plain white (4000 Kelvins) to Warm White (3000 Kelvins) at the flick of an integral switch. They also represent no danger from fire, since they operate at a sufficiently low temperature that they may be installed in close proximity to thermal insulation. I had four of these remaining, unused, in a cardboard box and gave them to a friend, who was installing new lights in his child's bedroom. But, he needed six lights; so, rather than ordering another two, and cutting six holes, ready for the final two to be fitted. So, he drove to the nearest DIY store and bought six of their lights on 'special offer' for One-Pound each. If you, the reader, are daft enough to believe that using One-Pound 'special offer' lights compares in any way with installing JCC downlights, then you richly deserve all that befalls you, in terms of poor quality of light and longevity of service, that is. If you burn your house down and endanger your family, or electrocute someone; then, prison is the place to ponder and to dampen your irresponsibility.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
