The G-Shock I've always wanted
I'm so happy that Casio G-Shock have released this 35th Anniversary Edition. For years I have wanted them to release a digital watch with quality stainless steel case and bracelet. This watch is the answer to my dreams. The GMW-B5000 (Full Metal Square) has some very useful features (that I'm sure you're all aware of), but the best thing about it is the beautiful construction. from the black DLC-coated stainless steel components surrounding the module, to the beautifully machined, brushed and polished stainless steel case, bracelet and clasp, it really is a superb piece. I'm a keen collector of watches and own both digital, automatic and hand-wound watches, some of them 3x the cost of the Full Metal Square, but I have to say, this watch is right at the top of my collection. I wear it daily, and it has not come off my wrist since purchasing it. Fitment wise, it is very comfortable and can be easily resized as the bracelet it held together with spring bars. I had to remove 6 links to fit my skinny 6.5" wrists, but it can go down much smaller if required. I am 100% happy with this watch, and if I ever were to loose it, I'd buy another in a heartbeat. It's such a joy to wear. It's the G-Shock I've always wanted.
