Small but detailed
These little 1/350 anchors are really detailed for their size. They are supposed to be 1/350 scale, but I think they are a bit bigger, as the kit anchors seem to be about half the size. They are even bigger than the anchors for the Tamiya Bismarck, too. I know they are the wrong shape for HMS Hood, but my cousin wants me to use them on the build anyways. If I was building it for myself, I would use the Shapeways 3D printed ones. If they made straight fluke anchors, I would use them. They give you a hefty length of really nice shaped chain, I wish the chain was available to the hobby shops. I'm sure they would sell lots of it.

1:350 parts work in 1:248
It was purchased as a "test." I needed anchors for some vintage 1:248 Revell destroyer escort models. I found that these 1:350 "battleship" anchors were close to what was needed.
