I found it difficult to work with as it hardens so quickly, needing to apply, mix only small amounts at a time, labor intensive. It does not mold well, but I like it because it can be sanded to shape and painted. The end result looks good. I tried this one because it is believed to hold up to a our long heavy rains and hot temperatures without cracking or breaking down. . In this case I did not need it to be flexible. Most all outside wood fillers are prone to cracking, swelling, or bleeding out after a few years. I will see how this one holds up. I wasted a lot of putty as it hardened before I could finish, no matter how little hardener I used. I think it is overpriced, but if it holds up on my wood siding without a do over I will continue using it for cracks and rotted out wood. This product was recommended by a wood worker whom makes windows. He said it was the best. We will see. At this time since I am required to give it a rating. I am giving it four stars considering I will get the longevity I bought it for.Read full review

This is an excellent product for wood restoration. I used it to fill in boar bee holes on the run in around my barn. It filled in the bee runs easily and hardened quickly so I could continue to fill or sand. I have not tried to paint or stain so I can not tell you how that would work. But for filling wood it is an excellent product.

Bondo wood filler is the best wood filler we've found for challenging fills (gaps in hardwood floors, door jambs, outdoor fills, etc.). It's the most resistant to cracking in areas that are subject to expansion/ movement/ impact/ vibration. Arrow Properties, Inc., Holyoke, Mass.

I used this product on a gun stock that had been burned on one side. It was easy to apply, rasp then sand...painted in a camo finish...lacquer over the paint. It looks great and will see about the durability in time.

The Bondo wood filler dries very strong, especially over Bondo Rotted Wood Restorer. It hardens a little too fast, resulting in about 20% waste in 2 to 3 minutes, but is a good value for the money.
