Read this review for yours and your families safety Re Immersion heaters
This device worked exactly as expected out of the box and so far has passed all my attempts to trick it into disconnecting (my own testing regime) and is rated to 16amps. Never hook a 13 amp fused switch to a 3kW immersion heater as the fuse will cause a fire in the long run. This device at 16amps is so far the best and most powerful household smart switch I've seen and it was easy to set up and customise on the App. I normally scoff when companies say easy to set up but so far this one has been easy and very intuitive with a bunch of options to set such as a timer/countdown time/random switching I guess for security lighting. Also it's excellent in that it doubles as either a switch to supply power to a device, or as a voltage free switch to connect or disconnect a single wire which can be the best installation option on some devices. To alternate between these two options all you need to do is leave in or remove the copper link supplied when new and also made clear in the instructions that came with it. Difficult to connect to WIFI.

Easy to use and very convenient.
This is a replacement for an old electronic combi boiler timer that had broken. Slightly more expensive than than a replacement electronic timer, but far more versatile and convenient to use. It was simple to set up. Connect to boiler, wait while timer connects to wi-fi. Sign into the Chome app on a smartphone, and search for timer. That's it. All completed in ~5 minutes. The Chome app allows up to 20 programs to be set up, and includes a countdown timer to switch the boiler on (if it's off) or off (if it's on), and a random function which I've not yet used. You can also manually switch the boiler on and off directly from the app, or use the button on the timer itself (glows red when on). I've had this working now for a week and a half, with no issues. Wi-fi connection is stable and hasn't dropped the connection to the router in this time. Programs work as expected as does the countdown function. Recommended to anyone looking to replace a mechanical or electronic timer.

Good WiFi Time Switch
Wiring diagram was a bit daunting for a none electrician but was quite simple in the end. All the neutrals go to 1, Live from fusebox goes to 3 and Live to the immersion heater goes to 4. WiFi needs 2.4 ghz, would not connect to 5ghz. Multiple timers which can be turned on or off. A count up timer or count down timer depending on if the switch is on or off. Remote connection using the app and data. C-home app only worked on iPhone X, not on android or earlier iPhones or ipad. SmartLife or TuyaSmart (which seem to be very similar) both work with this switch and all os platforms. Also IFTTT compatible.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I purchased this product to replace my existing immersion heater timer. I can now control my hot water remotely via the TuyaSmart app. The installation was straight forward for the electrician and setup with the WiFi in my property was seamless. Note: when initially setting up the device you will need to ensure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz frequency on your router. Would recommend - a great way to save money on electric bills and control hot water with full flexibility.
