The only reason I have given 4* and not 5* is due to it being sharp around bottom from handle. Saying that due to this it is a lot easier to scoop the ice-cream than my previous one. The grandchildren love this new one. I would have liked the handle a bit thicker, but then I have painful hands. All in all a good purchase at a great price.

This icecream mash potato scoop was on the small side it looked bigger in the photo and it is not as good as my old plastic one that had a trigger which you pushed to drop the ice cream or mash potato onto the plate or bowl. A soup spoon served the purpose in the end. I kept it because I could not find the particular one which I had anywhere. The quality of the steel is quite good.
