"Great sound and good features"
The Marantz NA 7004 is not a receiver but a network player; via an ethernet port it has an IP address that can search for any radio stations on the internet. It also has built-in airplay - an Apple technology where it can play iTunes, Youtube, Pandora, etc from an Apple device. It also has the Marantz/Denon vTuner where you can review literally thousands of stations by country, genre, and locality and then add them to your favorites. It can also play music from a DLNA server - a type of hard drive/storage device in your home just in case you have thousand of songs on it. The NA7004 was manufactured in 2012 and has two digital outputs: toslink and coax.
It will take some time to understand all that it does especially if you do not have any other Denon/Marantz equipment. The NA7004 has a great sound; however, this is an audiophile product so using cheap cables won't bring out its best sound. If you look you should be able to find one for less than $300. The newer ones don't have a coax digital out, which is a must for really great sound.
I rated it as excellent because of the price and able to easily enhance music appreciation for that price range.
