Almost like OEM, with one exception
I made sure that before I ordered this product the dimensions were consistent with the original. The fit was perfect, snapped on the back cover and pushed the on button and nothing, no power. I thought that maybe I needed to hit the reset, so I did that with a paper clip. Still nothing. I put back the old filter and the unit turned on. Ok what is going on? I heard this clicking when I removed the filter and then put it back in. But when I put in this compatible, I wasn't hearing the clicking. There is this metal part at the bottom of the unit that depresses when the filter is replaced, but it wasn't doing it with the compatible. I put some tape on this metal part and made it depress, replaced the filter, and the unit turned on. Aside from putting on this tape on the metal thing to activate the unit, the filter appears to be working just fine.
I compared both filters side by side and to me, they looked identical, except this compatible would not depress the metal clip.
