A very useful safety device for road bikes.

This product is specifically designed to be fitted onto the end of a drop handlebar, it is easy to fit and robust. Because the mirror is relatively small it needs carefully adjusting to give a good rear view and you may need to move your head around a little when checking the view behind. I have found it an invaluable safety feature but would still recommend a quick glance behind before pulling out.

    Bar End Mirror

It fits my road bike okay and does what I ask of it. With it being a CatEye product it is a good quality product.

  • Best bike mirror I own

I have these mirrors on my road and hybrid bikes. It has a very solid feel and is so easy to fit. The size, clarity and amount of convex curvature of the mirror is IMO spot in for cycling and superior to other brands that I have tried.

  • Pacing In a Group

When riding at the front of a group always found it hard to judge the 'group pace', always glancing behind. Bar End Mirror solved it. Helps also doing commute riding. Very easy to fit and adjust. Mirror perfect size, not too small and unable to make out what you are looking at, not over sized to look nerdy.

  • Great little gizmo

Easy to fit, good value unobtrusive, easy to adjust stays where you put it, gives an excellent view of what is coming up behind particularly for those tricky uphill right hand turn manoeuvers, On flat bars such as mine it adds about 50mm to the overall width of the bars which doesn't bother me and is a non issue on drops. For me there is no down side to this item.

  • Better than expected

I use this on dropped bars. Easy to fit, easy to adjust. Takes a bit of getting used to but now I have it gives better visibility than I expected from something so small. Gives confidence especially in traffic, where I know what’s behind me at all times without having to keep turning round & risking a wobble.

  • A good mirror, with a flaw

It's a very good wing mirror. But this is my 4th in as many years as the mirror can too easily be knocked off the base by light contact with obstacles - and being small the mirror can get lost in undergrowth etc. - the mirror can be refitted if you can find it!

  • Compact cycle mirror

Compact bar end mirror. Installed on straight handlebar and gives good rear vision. Good quality and relatively easy to install. Compactness hopefully will make it less easy to damage.

  • MikeG

If you have limitations on your neck movement go for the larger cateye mirrors. They are good for when cars etc are behind as the field of view is restricted. They take some getting used to, but otherwise fine.

  • Well made and designed mirror.

Tried lots of mirrors for bikes, this is the most compact (while still giving a good view), and most stable (no shaking) I have tried so far - worth the couple of quid more.
