    Quality, Price, Holds Settings

It's a knock out for both Quality and Price! Light tested at 625-lumens, Laser is easy to adjust, is holding set zero on both 40 and 45 recoil after several hundred rounds. Even when switched from gun to gun and re-zeroed it holds settings. Love the magnetic battery charger, great for bed side bump in the night use. Highly Recommend It !

    Here’s the issue

I work as a Private Military Soldier, I have lights from every maker high end low end stupid ridiculous bright and low signature ..... IR NV you name it I will buy and test it. This light on its own merits is fantastic right up until you pull the trigger........ I have not found a single cal. Of weapon system that won’t cause an issue with the light blinking out, coming apart, going to strobe the list is endless. I have 5 of them I will say Olight has great CS and I just send them back and they replace them my suggestion is mount them to other equipment helmet rails etc. carry them in a pouch or pocket but do not think just because you lit up the dark you will get anymore than a single round off on target. And DO NOT MOUNT TO M4 platforms they literally become shrapnel under 5.56 recoil

  • Great flashlight...BUT,

It is a great flashlight, but I'm not so sure how well it is for a compact hand pistol, I have a Springfield XD9, compact 4" barrel, and it fits perfect, the flashlight is super bright, it works great, handles great at the range. Shot 100 rounds without a problem, batteries didn't fall out and flashlight didn't turn off as I've seen in other reviews. BUT I do have a problem with it, when it came down to cleaning my gun, as soon as I took off the light, you can hear the gun powder residue grinding in the flashlight lock whenever I open it and close it, I used some of my gun oil to clean it out, but after 10-15minutes of cleaning it, I sorta just gave up. I did take a vast majority out, but I can still hear it grinding in there....now I don't know how bad it'll affect the light in future uses, so if it messes up in a week, or mknth, or a year, I'll be sure to give you guys an update how many uses it lasted me. Also, I'll be adding some pictures for you to see, the light does stick out "in front of the barrel", so if you have a compact gun, be advised, you will have to clean off your light after every use. Goodluck to anyone trying to find a good light...I do recommend it, I love the light, just not so sure how well I like it for a compact. Again, IT DOES FIT, it's just a hassle to clean off and it might not last if you continously use it. I only go to the range about once a month, so it's a good one for me. It'll definitely work in an emergency setting, or for your home/counter gun. Picture #1 (withe the wooden background) will show what I meant on how the flashlight sticks "in front of the barrel". Picture #4&5 (close up of the light from that locks to the rail) the lever to the right is the lock, which tightens the lock into place which by the way is tight and snug, but I hope you can see that gap on the right, that is where all the residue gets into, and when you pull the lever back to lock, or forward like it shows, you can hear it grind and feel it tighten up. I really hope this helps out anyone looking at this light.

  • Great flashlight in FDE

Already own the same model in black. Was bummed they stopped selling the FDE model. Then I found the FDE model here on eBay and was pleasantly surprised to see they were selling for a very reasonable price even though this model is hard to find as it was a limited edition. This model works well on long guns and full size handguns. I like that it matches my P320/M17.

  • Great weapon light...

Very well made light for tactical type operations. Extremely bright and powerful and I am pleased with it so far however, a long term test all benefit the over all feedback. So far so good let the testing begin...

  • Great lights. PL-2 is blinding. Mini is the perfect size.

The PL-2 is extremely bright. I love the actuation buttons on the PL-2. The mini is a great size for a ccw light. Its bright enough for home defense but not bright enough to be an offensive light, like the PL-2. I dont like the actuation button/switch on the mini. I wish it had the same actuation method as the PL-2. The recharging capability on the mini is great as well. In the perfect world, the PL-2 would recharge like the mini and the mini would have the actuation buttons the PL-2 has. I am very satisfied with the lights, though.

  • Great Light!

This light is super high quality. I have yet to shoot the gun with this on it, but it appears to be super nice. I would say it is extremely bright, even in broad daylight.

  • Olight PL2 is a great & simple tactical light!

Th Olight PL2 is an amazing little light. It has a quick connect/disconnect lever. Very bright light. It has ambidextrous buttons. Press and release to turn on, press and hold- once you release it turns off. Lastly, press both left/right buttons for strobe/flashing light. I use this light on my H&K USP .45 Tactical with the GG&G picatinny adapter GGG-1133SP. Very pleased.

  • Not bad for the money

The charger is a complete waste, buy the cheaper version that isn't bundled with the charger. As for the light it's definitely bright and the throw is pretty decent. Conceptually there is a few things i would've changed like a flat edge on the light where the bulb is so the gun can rest sitting on it instead of rolling over. Also the buttons are stiff to press but all in all not bad.
