Fizzics Gives Good Head!
The Fizzics system does a remarkable job of transforming most canned & bottled beers into the perfect draft poor. I was never able to perfect my keg poor though, so the Fizzics has allowed me to taste what a beer should actually taste like. It enhances the flavor, keeps all or even appears to add carbonation to the body, and gives the creamiest head I've ever had. I never really understood why a beer should have head, until I got this product. You can actually just sip the foam, and you'll still enjoy it. That's never been possible before for me. But... The real/best way to drink your beer, is to chug through the head, and get body & head in each swig. Delicious! It works best with porters & stouts, and other richer/darker beers. The head will last to the last drop. But I've also had a lot of success with IPA's Ales, and even beers like Stella & Heineken. Fizzics is producing the best Heinekens I've ever had, and that alone makes it worth it to me. If you're a domestic light beer drinker, this product isn't for you. I've tried Coors Light, Bud Light, Miller Lite, and even Budweiser out of the Fizzics, and it made the beer worse in my opinion. If you're that type of drinker, skip on this product. But... If you enjoy craft beer, this product is a good investment. The price is steep, but I got a barely used one for under half of the MSRP. So... Thanks Fizzics, and thanks eBay. Very Disappointed
I was so excited when my Fizzics Beer System arrived....But my excitement quickly turned to major disappointment. The Fizzics simply did not do what it claims to do. I experimented with 6 bottles (12oz) of beer. 3 IPA's and 3 Lite beers. I followed directions and used a clean, non-frosted glass. I tried frosted pint glasses, different shaped beer glasses, mugs, pilsners, etc.. I really wanted this product to work. There was no change in the taste, texture, or appearance of the beer. The only head from the pour was when the last couple of ounces were blown out of the emptied bottle. I returned the Fizzics for a refund. Improves beer but slow
I bought this as a gift for my son. He really liked the results but stated that he probably would not use it much as it takes to long (to him). My husband has his eye on it and sounds like he's hoping my son will leave it at home for him to use. My son does like the novelty of it and later said he may want to let his friends try it. Easy cleaning, works as designed
I've seen other reviews of this product that suggest that this does not make a noticeable difference to the beer drinking experience. That has not been the case for me. The system, when used as directed, works exactly as advertised. We have found, not shockingly, that if you happen to get a beer that is a little flat, Fizzics cannot save it. However, for any fresh beer, results are great and it is a lot (but not exactly) like drinking a draft beer. The product being plastic, especially the locking mechanism, scared me when I first got it, but after several uses, they seem to be very strong and secure. Cleanup is a breeze too. All in all, I'm very glad I bought it. A little hint, doing this one bottle at a time is tedious, if you are planning to have a few beers, pouring them in a growler and then pouring from there is a lot easier.
