The right answer for long-life disc braking - but check the model fits
Having purchased a road bike with disc brakes I'm impressed with the performance, which is unaffected by wet weather. Shimano make a surprisingly wide range of products to do the same thing, and its remarkably easy to buy the wrong components, especially with their arcane product numbering. My brakes currently us L02C (resin) pads. I'm hoping that these metal backed pads (L04C) will give improved heat reduction when slowing down on the fearsome hills we have locally. They are well made and come with a replacement spring too.
