Samsung water filter upgrade due to Samsung changing filter connection
The product supplied was new type connection so also had to purchase new filter housing. Not to difficult to fit cost £35 from espares. The filters supplied where genuine but someone asked me why I needed to filter the water I would normally drink from the tap. As it is for an American fridge the water in America possibly is not always drinkable so the question is do we need fillers in England and replace every 6 months. Will continue to use until informed otherwise. The price people are asking for DA 29 0003F filters means it's cheaper to replace housing and purchase the new DA29 0003G. Water Filter
The filter has a modified screw system which initially meant we could not attach it. After consultation with Samsung they told us they had modified the 'screwing' device and we needed to push very hard to get it to connect.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well worth the extra - marked difference 'v' non-original
Great item, we had a samsung filter when the fridge was delivered, then I thought I would save some money by buying a generic filter. Big mistake. We live in an area where the water is so hard it comes out the tap with a Glaswegian accent. Water tasted a lot different with the non original, lot of chlorine left.
