Using for sewing pins
I have been looking for a strong magnetic container to contain my pins when sewing. Most of the ones being sold specifically for needel work arent as robust and and also about three times the price. Whilst this is sold for use whilst doing mechanical repairs it is also very suitable for my purpose. The item has a deep dish made of metal and has a very large powerful magnet at the base. This little dish is great,I bought it to hold my pins whilst I sew, it cost a fraction of the cost of a dedicated sewers magnet and I suspect holds a lot more. it certainly is strongly magnetic, it picks up my scissors and bobbins with the base if I don't keep them clear!
