This Multi Purpose Copper Grease comes in a 70g tube and is designed to be applied to threads on nuts and bolts in engines prior to assembly to help prevent them from seizing up. The grease is effective long after its application and also during exposure to harsh conditions. great product, good thermal transfer
Larger tube than it looked. For my use it will last a life time. Very high temperature resistance and with the copper it also has great heat transfer properties. Using this to replace the heatsink compound on my 3D printer as it has the 2 qualities I require, high temperature resistance and doesn't harden up unlike the stuff I was using (it sets hard at 240 deg C usage making it nearly impossible to disassemble the hot end parts) works greatVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value in an economic size.
This copper grease is useful for all kinds of automotive applications - on the back of brake pads to stop them squeaking, for wheel bolts and nuts to avoid "stiction" and generally when assembling nuts and bolts, ABS sensors, etc etc as an anti seize lubricant. The very small (20g) tubes that you can buy are poor value for money and on the other hand it may take the average DIY motorist just too long to use up a big 500g tin, so the 70g tube on sale here is a good compromise in terms of optimum order quantity and value for money for occasional users. This vendor is selling this product at one of the lowest prices on eBay but to reduce postage costs has cunningly dispensed with the outer cardboard box, and squashed the tube top slightly to make it fit within Royal Mail's appropriate Large Letter sizing. So it is good to carefully straighten the tube again when you get it, and then put the thing in your tool box using the plastic mailing bag to avoid puncture and leakage of the grease. Easy tube dispenser. Don't have to dip into a pot. Slightly less stiff than old fashioned "copperslip", hence easier to apply especially into the hard to reach places such as my car's bonnet release and the cable connected to it.
