Great Pack, with Adjustments.
This is a fantastic pack! With respect to previous reviewers if you buy this, you may never need to buy another!!? It is very well constructed after testing it. Although I have only tested it in a very limited environment of the gym and using it as my ‘homeward bound’ pack carrying items I need immediately for use when I travel. But it served up very well. I was actually surprised given the unusual nature of the layout of the pack itself. Very unconventional, but effective enough. I found the UA website photos and description a bit lacking in detail, and therefore all subsequent descriptions. So allow me to elaborate on the design for your convenience; • there are 7 external pockets consisting of; • 4 x vertical pouches; - 2 x vertical zippered water bottle pockets either side. Both the same size and large enough for a shaker or a standard 600ml bottle. - 2 x top & inside zippered organisational pouches on the front. • 2 x horizontal pouches; - 1 x horizontally zippered standard box type pouch, which then flips on magnets as shown in the pictures, to reveal another hidden... - 1 x horizontally zippered flat document/wallet/passport pouch. • 1 x expandable shoe/jacket/laundry pouch. The main zippered pouch is quite spacious and sturdy. As well as the laptop pouch which is padded very well and unzips 180* so the bag is almost in half, (for airport scans at a guess as is the style these days). The bag itself is of a very rugged construction and you can tell the quality in craftsmanship when you first see it. It is not cordura material but feels more like a tough ‘linen type’ fabric. This fabric does attract dust as a minor point, so I may have to start brushing my bag from this point on!!? It is showerproof, thankfully, although I have not tested its waterproof capacity. The straps are sturdy and comfortable to wear. The buckles are all very sturdy metal construction and simple to operate. All in all a good purchase, as long as you can readjust to where you usually put things in a pack and assuming it is as rugged as it seems, it will serve you for a very long time!
