Can't go wrong with a 2T rachet Puller for this price. Seems well made with good materials. The mechanism is simple but effective, releasing the tension one click at a time is achieved by simply sliding a spring along a slot that works on a cam. Fully releasing the cable again is easy by holding up the spring loaded rachet plate and pulling the cable out from the drum. Over all, a good purchase that's simple to use.
Used to pull out the trunks and roots of 14 conifers 8 feet tall and over 20 years old. Mechanism to release the tension is a bit stiff but did the job. Was quoted over £800 to remove. Winch 2 straps and a man with a van cost me £200 and 2 days graft.
