Nice try, not up to scratch though.
These fine as walkie-talkies, one to the other, but there's no way I can get them to work any DMR repeater within range of me (five repeaters are visible from my home). Analogue they work fine, but digital/DMR is hopeless. Analogue audio quality is poorer than on earlier Baofengs too. If you really want DMR, don't bother with Baofeng, it's a waste of time and money. On the plus side, the software for PC works well enough, so you can create/add your own codeplugs easily enough. Digital at an affordable price.
Clear and crisp reception. Got quite a few really good and clear signals from over fifty miles away. Great little unit and with the programming software - is fairly easy to program.
